- Define community health information networks or CHINs and regional health information organizations known as RHIOs.
- Describe why CHINs failed in the 1990s.
- Describe the concept of RHIOs and articulate how they relate to the idea of a Nationwide Health Information Network
- Discuss the reasons for the increased interest in health information exchange
